Database

• Standard pricing includes an Access database. This database can be pre-populated prior to going live from an Excel or csv file provided by you. The file structure will be provided.
• Change to MySQL database or upsize to MSSQL database for an additional charge.

Passworded Back-end Administration

• Fully integrated password protected back-end administration section with easy to use update pages that allow you to upload images and download files through a browser.
• The ecommerce shopping cart is managed online through a web browser so you don't have to install any software on your machine. This means you can manage your store from anywhere in the world - all you need is an internet connection and a browser.
• Multiple logins can be created to allow more than one user to manage the store. Each user has a username and password to verify themselves and log in to the system. The permissions system means you can restrict users to only manage certain sections. You can also limit access to the back end to specific IP addresses or IP ranges.
• You can view your recent orders, or search for old orders by date, transaction code, customer, affiliate or status. View all the details of the order, print off an invoice and update the order progress to keep your customers informed.
• Managing your categories, products and versions is straightforward; each can have a thumbnail and large image which is uploaded through the browser. The store supports the sale of downloadable items such as software too, which can also be uploaded through the store's back end (including time limiting and manual approval options).

Shipping Pricing and Country Taxes

• Choice of shipping calculated internally using a bands / zones system based on weight / price, method and destination.
• Settings for each country and state so you can ensure tax is charged to each place as appropriate and a shipping zone (and hence price) can be linked to the country too.
• Set up prices either inclusive or exclusive of tax and you can choose to display tax inclusive or exclusive prices.
• The tax calculations adjust to per item or per row tax accordingly to match accounting standards and tax is removed at checkout if not due for the destination country (or state).

'My Account'

Affiliate Module

• A full affiliates tracking system is included with the store. Affiliates are other web sites that are paid commission for sending visitors who go on to make orders through your web site.
• The store tracks both click-throughs (visits) from affiliate websites and the value of orders subsequently made by those visitors.
• Detailed statistics for both are available and the system calculates the commission due for each affiliate in any month over the last year for sales produced.
• Each affiliate can be given a percentage commission for orders they generate.
• From the back end you can view statistics for affiliates and show which payments have been made to them and which are pending.
• A warning system lets you know when affiliates are due payment.
• Affiliates can log in on the front end and view stats on click-throughs, purchases and payments.
